Make your morning meals easier than before with healthy & nutritious breakfast ideas that help you kick start your day in a healthy way.

  1. Things to keep in mind-Opt for Oatmeal, flaxseed, blueberries and almonds. Steel cut oatmeal is the healthier choice as compared to other varieties of oatmeal because of its high content of fibre. Add ground flaxseed, blueberries, sliced almonds, cinnamon powder & honey. This meal is full of fibre, nutrients, proteins & good fats with easy to prepare and tasty.
  2. Avoid sugary or Carb filled breakfasts- Waffles, pancakes, muffins, pasteries, donuts, sugar cereals, bagels, pies are all high carb empty calories , low protein, low in good fats. These items will spike your sugar levels instantly & specially risky Diabetics or Prediabetics.This starts your day with hyperglcemia, which your body will quickly adjust for and drop and you will be on a roller coaster  blood sugar diet ride all day.
  3. A Vitamin rich diet- Scrambled Tofu,add onion rings,green peppers, veges like beans,garlic,soy sauce & black pepper sauted in olive oil. Eat with whole grain toast.

Also try Yogurt with low fat and low calorie Granola bar, berries, add some almonds, banana,cinnamon powder This is called a Parfait.

A plate full of fruits like apple, melons, pineapple, orange,banana with alittle bit of lemon juice is also refreshing & healthy.
